great little gadget, fun for fidgeting with at the computer
I am kind of scared to turn it on close to any expensive/sensitive pieces of electronics though, i have a feeling that it might cause some kind of interference , but either way awesome gadget!
It's a great gadget and a great company with great follow-
Of course, keeping it on 24/7 is not good for it and will cause it to burn out -- so as long as it's off when not in use, it'll keep looking amazing
But, in itself, it's a really fun and cool thing to play with and look at/ watch
but it's definitely a nice gimmicky little thing to have
It's a cheaply made thing, but totally cool on your desk.
It's just a little cool thing that makes my desk look cooler
And for those who want to buy this and have a hard time remembering trivial things like turning off the lights or putting the toilet seat down, I have a suggestion for you
And it was made out of cheap plastic it is also very small and makes a low but annoying hum.
Smells like nasty crap plastic, and the smell is really strong.
The base is made out of a cheaper plastic but it still works fine.
The ball is made out of glass, but the rest it's pretty cheap plastic
It does have a glass globe with a plastic base, like the original (though the plastic is more fragile than the original, but something had to give at this price point)
The box smelled so bad when it arrived at my job that I had to take the item out of the box because my coworkers were getting lightheaded from the smell
The box itself smelled like it had been doused in gasoline and, when we opened it, the ball itself smelled (and STILL smells) like gasoline.
The box was crushed, Ball was OK
