It comes with an LED bulb that provide clean yet warm light

A good light, but

As you can see from the photos, this makes a good reading light when positioned properly above or beside a chair

Light bulb is included and the lamp has a nice look and a nice light but for the cost there are other desk lamps out there just as efficient and just as nice looking and not as heavy.

The arm that the shade is mounted on doesn't slide up and down, but the arm and shade articulate enough to provide proper light for reading

The lamp comes with a decent LED bulb that gives us sufficient light for most needs
