On the plus side, it is a great band game with a great song list and an excellent selection of downloadable content; just stinks when you want to sing against your party guests and not bother with the instruments.

The music on Rock Band 3 is pretty spread out and there is really a song for everyone, that is the difference I noticed between Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

The song list has many popular rock songs, although if your younger you would have to listen to them to be able to recognize them

Not only is it not bad at all, it's superior to Rock Band 2 for the Wii; once again the music library is diverse and fun to play, the layout and menu's make choosing songs and modifiers much easier than before, the career has a greater sense of accomplishment; only drawback are the solos, I miss the blue section layout of solos in Rockband 2 and 1Haven't tried the piano or any of the pro instruments yet, but so far so good

We bought the new keyboard and so far it works fine, although we're keeping our fingers crossed that this dongle-using instrument lasts longer that the original RB guitar did (I really wish Rock Band would start having their instruments use an attached Wii controller, the way Guitar Hero instruments work, rather than using these ridiculous "dongles").
