Reviews around selection (5.00 of 5)

  • On the plus side, it is a great band game with a great song list and an excellent selection of downloadable content; just stinks when you want to sing against your party guests and not bother with the instruments.
  • This release has a very good selection of tracks, and also imports your RB2 download collection
  • It has a good selection of fun songs, and adds improvements like the ability to join a game in the middle of a song.
  • Easy to use and it has a wonderful selection of music to choose from.
  • If there is ever a Rock Band 4 with a good selection of songs I will probably buy that too since I already have the instruments.

Reviews around rock (5.00 of 5)

  • The music on Rock Band 3 is pretty spread out and there is really a song for everyone, that is the difference I noticed between Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
  • The song list has many popular rock songs, although if your younger you would have to listen to them to be able to recognize them
  • and I have purchased the MadCatz Keyboard and Guitar plus some Guitar Hero/Rock Band 5 button guitars (from Amazon)
  • Not only is it not bad at all, it's superior to Rock Band 2 for the Wii; once again the music library is diverse and fun to play, the layout and menu's make choosing songs and modifiers much easier than before, the career has a greater sense of accomplishment; only drawback are the solos, I miss the blue section layout of solos in Rockband 2 and 1Haven't tried the piano or any of the pro instruments yet, but so far so good

Reviews around guitar hero (4.33 of 5)

  • This is one place where Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock beats RB3 hands down.
  • I've played the previous Rock Band games, as well as a few Guitar Hero games
  • so Vicarious Visions can take over on the Wii side of things and do for Rock Band what they've done for Guitar Hero on the platform
  • It's not like guitar hero or band hero where they will party play
  • I've got several Guitar Hero games and Band Hero, but this one is the most fun to play.

Reviews around keyboard (4.26 of 5)

  • (for the wii)Pros:The Keyboard is well made, and works well, although it is very difficult
  • We bought the new keyboard and so far it works fine, although we're keeping our fingers crossed that this dongle-using instrument lasts longer that the original RB guitar did (I really wish Rock Band would start having their instruments use an attached Wii controller, the way Guitar Hero instruments work, rather than using these ridiculous "dongles").
  • The game, while filled with problems, is still a great game worth the $ 2 0 you can get it for, and the keyboard is worth the high price too.
  • Some details just aren't that appealing (as in previous games, the notes 'explode' when played, but this time they do so in a cloud of cheesy-looking smoke)
  • I got this game with the keyboard for $ 4 5 and while the keyboard is great, most everything else is glitchy, but still really fun

Reviews around music (4.26 of 5)

  • My kid love this product because it had nice music on it, and start playing with it as soon as we got it. .
  • Also, in the Music store, you can download multiple tracks by the same artist at a discounted price, just like in the Guitar Hero music store
  • MIDI-Pro adapter, and now it's a lot more like playing real music.
  • I’m someone who loves music and played music for fun for almost 40 Years, this is as close as I will get to playing Rock Music on a more or less real instrument with my favorite Songs and Artists
  • i don't like the music on this game

Reviews around feature (4.16 of 5)

  • of course they cost you a buck or too per song, but its a great feature.
  • Overall, Rock Band 3 adds some great features and enhancements, but there are a few things you should be aware of before purchasing (I bought on launch day, so I had to experience most of these first hand)
  • One nice feature is that you get pro drums with the DL, but unfortunately you don't get any enhancement to pro vocals or guitar, and no keyboard support.
  • The online DLC store/import menu is a great feature, allowing you to buy any of the songs in the catalog and import songs from (at least
  • Some details just aren't that appealing (as in previous games, the notes 'explode' when played, but this time they do so in a cloud of cheesy-looking smoke)

Reviews around instrument (4.10 of 5)

  • I hope more future development is put into a better multiplayer experience with all instruments and vocals fully available
  • It adds a new level of difficulty, but I wouldn't recommend putting down that kind of cash unless you're actually interested in learning the instrument or skilled enough to play at that level
  • In party play, this tends to be really hard to use; people don't really want to take the time to log in and out, and due to the limitations of the game's controller scheme (see my edits to the review on the Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro-Drum and Pro-Cymbals Kit for Wii) there can be issues with getting the right instruments into the game at the right time without
  • That is, if you want to be playing a bunch of fake instruments, singing off key, and have other people in the house give you strange looks.
  • The musical instruments to be used with this product are not easy to find at this point.

Reviews around song (3.56 of 5)

  • The sync for the bass/petal is off by a bunch of milliseconds, which you can see if you slow down the songs in practice mode
  • the Wii/U. About every 3-10 songs, in a totally random way, the game will lock up and freeze
  • Great GameEasier interfacegreat song list, even songs have never heard are good to play and challenginganxious to try pro guitar and drumsclosest to actually playinggreat for adults and children alike
  • All the songs are so old that even I only know like 4 or 5, totally bummed about it my kids don't want to jam to almost all 80's songs.
  • This game has many improvements and awesome game play and songs

Reviews around band (3.22 of 5)

  • Some details just aren't that appealing (as in previous games, the notes 'explode' when played, but this time they do so in a cloud of cheesy-looking smoke)
  • no band, no venue, etc., and the visualization is often distracting, sometimes making the notes more difficult to see
  • She looks up to him, and he still wants to spend time with her, so thanks rock band for keeping a family together.
  • The band sounds just fine, the vocals are quiet as a mouse
  • Too bad it's getting harder to get other band accesories like the doongle
