I had an old Labtec desk microphone that was better sound but the lavelier mic worked well enough to work with the Windows Speech Recognition Software

I had some issues with poor audio quality which i think may be due to the need to use the 3.5mm adapter to both of my vlogging cameras, the adapter protrudes out of the rear and i would frequently bump it.

This mic could work with smartphones, however that was not my use.
