I can keep the FlexSMART plugged in all the time and charge off the Rocketek's very capable USB ports.
Really works well two lighter and two USB ports plus it swivels to get out the way.
love having the double car charger ports as well as multiple USB ports on this UPDATE: a few weeks after starting to use it, it started smoking and then proceeded to burn out the fuse to the cigarette lighter and my car clock
The 2 USB ports great for cell or tablet charging while on the road.
I solved the input problem years ago with a GOgroove FlexSMART X2 that let's me stream music or podcasts from my phone to the stereo, but that device has a weak USB charging port on it.

If there is a overload of some sort the fuse will blow not my connected electronic devices.

Has not blown a fuse yet like the cheapo charger extenders I have purchased.
Fuse is fine, and 12 volt sockets work - but the USB ports are totally dead
I gave it 4 stars 'cause when I was fidgeting with everything trying to make it fit, the siruis car dock blew the fuse in the Rocketek car charger

The first time I used this in my car I smelled something burning
on time and works great! use if to charge my mobile devices and my dashcam.
First time plugged it in, worked great for about 2 minutes until it started seriously smoking...
Unfortunately the unit blew the first time I plugged something in.
It has come lose on me multiple times, and I have to keep pushing it back in, and pushing the on button which is somewhat annoying, but still a good product for the price
