It is definitely not the nostril shaking system of my youth, but I couldn't be happier with how this 8" sub seemingly ressurected the pleasure of listening to music in my 4runner.

I am compelled to share about this because the two main websites for 4-Runner enthusiasts have SO MANY POSTS that say that there are no 2-ohm subs available (which is what the original sub is) and that you have to buy a 4-ohm unit and install an amplifier somewhere

If you need the ring to keep this sub safe you should factor in the extra height if space is a concern.

This is a good sub that produces very tight, kickdrum

First time I connected and tested, the sub was working but not making much juice, so I switched wires to the opposite sides (i.e. black and green wires moved to right side of sub, red and yellow wires to left side)
