This is a perfect compact mic for my GoPro HERO 5, since it's small and offers an outstanding audio recording.

Bought this based on a lot of feedback and reviews as being a good mic for the GoPro Hero 5.

This is a great mic and I use on my GoPro Hero 4 Silver

Great mic, i use it with my GoPro Hero 5 for vlogging and it improves the audio quality no end

The size is smallest I've seen, except if you were to have a lavaliere mic, but the compact size and sound quality makes this a great budget purchase

Using it on a Panasonic G7, great sound, compact size and no batteries to worry about.

A longer microphone would have been in the shot, so the size of this mic works great for small cameras

Perfect size for my a6300 and definitely an improvement over on-board mic.

Dislike : size for vlogging, i knew it would be bigger than its smaller brother but it is only once on the camera and using it arms extended or traveling that you realize size might be why you would stop using it at some point..

The microphone is very static-y

but if you're looking for something affordable and significantly better than the audio your camera probably has, this is a great buy

My one complaint is the tiny thing only comes with a *huge* deadcat wind muff, and there do not seem to be options for a small, foam wind muff like I would prefer

The good thing about this microphone is that you don't need to have any kind of power source to use it

i have nothing but good things to say, well, only 1 thing: when the mic is attached to my cellphone, and the wireless or data (either one) is turned on, the microphone will actually pick up the sound of data being transmitted and received.i actually "returned" because i thought it was picking up some kind of weird noise.

Great reproduction of sound quality with an included "dead kitten" for blocking out wind

I didn’t bring the dead kitten because it wasn’t windy, but the crowds can be loud

Portable and love that I didn't have to pay extra for the dead kitten

The "dead cat" was very useful and minimized a lot of wind noise during our shoot in downtown DC on a windy day

This MIC is a really good MIC in recording high quality, crisp sound, but sometimes when there is no dialogue, and there is an action that doesn't have much sound, like a door opening and closing, there can be quite a loud hiss in the background

They sound like a motor they purr sound loud, but the hissing from this mic is so loud you can even hear the purr

Although the sound from the Comica vm10ii mic was good, the hiss was so loud, I had to lower the cameras preamps to extremely so levels so the audio became too low

When using the on board mic on my devices it got pretty good audio (if i yelled) but there was this annoying hissing sound (white noise)
