Now, I know the hissing can be cleared up a bit post production, but I thought It wouldn't be a problem at all

but there's a terrible hissing sound with my Sony A6300

I really don't like to write bad reviews, however this microphone randomly produces terrible hissing feedback when I shoot my videos

For the price, I expected a bit more I think--still quite a bit of static hiss.

I'm writing this one-star review after another frustrating video editing session where nothing I just shot is useable due to the LOUD hissing sound from the mic

There was significant hiss recorded with the audio

the hiss from the internal pre-amp of the camera makes the audio unusable

They sound like a motor they purr sound loud, but the hissing from this mic is so loud you can even hear the purr

This MIC is a really good MIC in recording high quality, crisp sound, but sometimes when there is no dialogue, and there is an action that doesn't have much sound, like a door opening and closing, there can be quite a loud hiss in the background

There is a terrible hissing sound and the amount of work that must be done in post production to try and better the sound quality makes the $$ saved by purchasing this inexpensive microphone not worth it

In reality for a lot of cameras you have to use a mic that has a stronger signal and takes a battery to avoid the static hiss I'm referring too.

When I first got my Nikon D5200, I had a problem with the preamp hiss in my videos

Its not a loud obnoxious hiss, but it is noticeable.3 stars for quality of materials and build.

Although the sound from the Comica vm10ii mic was good, the hiss was so loud, I had to lower the cameras preamps to extremely so levels so the audio became too low

When using the on board mic on my devices it got pretty good audio (if i yelled) but there was this annoying hissing sound (white noise)

I was shooting video with a Canon t3i and canon 70D and suffered from the terrible Audio hiss which apparently is a known problem with DSLR especially Canon
