This is a good ideal size and performance for those who are on a budget but want a good Mic
Dislike : size for vlogging, i knew it would be bigger than its smaller brother but it is only once on the camera and using it arms extended or traveling that you realize size might be why you would stop using it at some point..
A longer microphone would have been in the shot, so the size of this mic works great for small cameras
Perfect size for my a6300 and definitely an improvement over on-board mic.
Using it on a Panasonic G7, great sound, compact size and no batteries to worry about.
The Rode VideoMicro really improved audio vs the internal mic of my FZ300, the shotgun pattern works well and the dead-cat wind screen is very effective
But connection between mic and cable is faulty--mic doesn't work unless tension is placed on cable (I have to wrap it around the lens)
the stability aspect of the mic began to get flimsy and then the audio stopped working, all my clips had distortion in the audio
The wind noise canceling dead cat (more like a dead gerbil) works like a pro.
This mic works amazingly well, especially for the price tag

Came with a fuzzy dead cat thing to cut down wind noise and it works quite well

The missing fifth star is due to the fact that they plastic shock mount broke (one arm only, so it still works) as it isn't easy to remove from the mic for storage.

Although the sound from the Comica vm10ii mic was good, the hiss was so loud, I had to lower the cameras preamps to extremely so levels so the audio became too low
that's pretty good, but has alot of irritating background hiss noise.

They sound like a motor they purr sound loud, but the hissing from this mic is so loud you can even hear the purr
