Last year my a6000 with my lenses was stolen from my car
I love extreme wide-angle lenses, so after a lot of research, I bought the Rokinon 12mm
I only have a small collection of humble legacy lenses so I can't compare to the top of the line
Most modern lenses include 7 , 8, or 9 blades to get better bokeh at intermediate apertures, and to provide better "star" highlights when photographing at night
I dont know what people see but this lense isnt very sharp, not for pixel peepers
A super cheap, super fast, super wide angle lens, what more could you want?

Using this lens all the way closed at f/22 is not recommended as it is noticeably soft, although it is not unbearable
Once mounted to my EOS-M a lot of the size and weight benefit of mirror-less cameras is negated, but it's still much nicer than carrying say, a DSLR and a hefty wide angle zoom lens
If you need an excellent ultra-wide angle lens for your aps-c sony mirrorless, you just can't do better than this
I will give it 4 stars and may bump it up to 5 as I get more experienced with it and take more photos.
I purchased it for its current price of little over $300, which I find a great value, given the alternatives on the market (or lack thereof)

For what it is, it's an excellent value and the most popular budget UWA lens for the Sony A6000/A6300/A6500 compared to the Zeiss Touit 12mm and the SONY E 10-18 F4 OSS.However, you do get what you pay for because my particular copy of this lens is decentered (the top left of the image is extremely soft at F/2.0 and only the top left corner) - but it goes away after a take it down a few stops to F/5.6, which in my opinion, should be the minimum open aperature for landscapes/architecture anyways
There are a variety of good reasons NOT to buy this lens, but if you can live with the negatives, this lens is a good value ultra-wide angle

Made just for mirrorless mounts is the new Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS lens
It is available in Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, Samsung NX, Sony E and Micro Four Thirds mounts
Its 35mm focal length equivalency for MFT cameras is 24mm, for Canon M cameras it is 19.2mm, and for the other three mounts, 18mm
With an f/2.0 maximum aperture, it is particularly effective in low-light capture and can control shallow depth of field for precise subject focus with pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds
It offers a minimum focus distance of 7.9"
The lens’s impressive optical construction consists of three Extra-low Dispersion elements, one aspherical, and one hybrid aspherical element
The nano-crystal coating is applied to the inner surface of the two front-most lens elements to minimize ghosting and flare and improve overall image clarity
The Rokinon 12mm accepts front filters and provides a 67mm diameter thread.
