Needed a better updated Roku for better streaming, and this was it.

But since football season started, I have been especially frustrated with a lack of smooth streaming, and I knew I couldn't go through a whole football season struggling with streaming issues

I'm thrilled with this stick, it's streaming with no problems from a wifi connection my roku express wouldn't even detect at all, beyond that navigation is much, much faster and I love that the remote can turn the TV on/off and adjust volume, so I can actually put my TV remote away and just use this one.

This is my second Roku product and has cemented Roku as my my favorite streaming device

Was streaming impressively fine for two months until the remote stopped working

What sold me is that it connects & streams so well even though my WIFI is set up on opposite end of my home.

Although it is supposedly the same as the original Roku stick I purchased on Amazon, this one interrupts my TV streaming with Roku pop-up ads or suddenly forcing me to download a new app/channel that I don't want

On some of the free streaming sites, there are commercials, but only a few per every commercial break (not 5 minutes worth the way cable tv overwhelms me with the same commercials over and over again).

Great picture and wireless streaming, I have this Roku stick and a Firestick plugged into our outside TV (I use the Firestick for a couple of Android apps, you can't load on the Roku), the Roku's quality picture and wifi is superior to the firestick.

I replaced it with an Android device (Tivo Stream 4k) - it's slightly less intuitive at first, but supports every service under the sun as far as I know

I have the issue when it is plugged into the TV directly, as well as when plugged into a surge protector

This problem is apparent on Prime Video via HDMI as well as on the Prime Video app installed on the LG OS.

I use this with my Tablo Over The Air DVR, as well as with all the streaming services

It basically works as it should, great 4K video.

YouTube works well and pretty much the same as on any smart TV
