I needed to adjust the settings in my SPD-SX because this is placed close to my acoustic snare and found that this was being triggered by loud acoustic snare rimshots.
The PDX-8 pad is only two inches smaller and it worked great as a snare, but those extra two inches on this pad made a huge difference.
