The sound quality on this is really amazing, and all the ways you have to tweak your patterns makes this a real treat to play live

I work in the audio visual industry and was able to hook this gear up to some pro audio subwoofers and speakers we use for big events and the quality was amazing

The presets are pretty awesome, and really help give a feel for what this can do, as well as, help you get started with your own patterns

I use it with Ableton and it syncs up nicely, you may (as I did) have to nudge the delay compensation a bit to make it synch up perfectly but all in all this is a great piece of hardware.

I highly recommend this piece of gear

TR-8 and it's a fantastic piece of kit.

This is a fantastic sounding drum machine that emulates the sounds and grooves of the TR-808 and TR-909 Rhythm Composer machines from the 1980s

Sequencing my DAW rhythm tracks is so much more fun on the TR-8S, you can program your drums just the same as if you were sequencing the on-board sounds, it works the exact same way

but it’s an amazing tool and the people giving it negative stars, I have to imagine can’t learn how to use it or don’t like the way it works because it almost objectively sounds fantastic.

This is a great tool for scratching our beats and for use on stage
