The strings and wood are really good.

As another reviewer commented, it does have difficulty in regards to tuning, and the strings are quite eager to slips (losing the tuning easily) or snap, even if one is careful and using the chromatic tuner and tiny adjustments

and it's her favorite string instrument now.

After I was done with it I gave it to my niece who is beginning to learn how to play music and is enjoying tinkering about with it.

You can't expect to get genuine concert music from something that is only $35, this size, and made in Pakistan
