This purple potion was the perfect solution.

I've found other better solutions, including just the purple antiseptic spray.

It came off the chicken pretty fast and by the time they were all roosting for the night there didn't seem to be enough solution left on her to make a difference

Having to apply it every other day is a pain, but does seem to work

Not only does it work for hens, but I've tried it on my female duck to keep a drake off her.

I put a very good portion on the 6 hens, my rooster was not offended by them at all

By contrary, it encourages peaking

With my polish, I found putting the rooster's crest in a pony tail was more effective

I recommend putting it on a paper towel then dabbing it on.

We put blinders on my aggressive chickens and they work great.

I mean, she literally shook her head and backed up about two feet

They all left shaking their heads but almost were trying to clean it off the one that was wearing it

Violent head shaking turned her into a sprinkler for the solution

The product even smells appealing, which is part of the problem
