I think for $30 its a great price for a quality headset
(I have a large head and large ears), but microphone positioning was not as flexible as I like.

Despite the not so great things about this headset, it does work quite well at an acceptable price point.
The mic works just as well allowing the person or persons on the other end hear me just fine

For a wallet friendly gaming headset I'll say that this one sounds much better than expected with a nice buttery tone cleanly articulated from top to bottom

If its too bright just don't plug in the USB and they work fine and they wont light up

My sons jabber away as they play games so the poor stowability of this mic is a big “who cares” for them.-
This is a fairly comfortable headset, even while wearing glasses, with good sound rendition - - - - but it would not work using the USB connector attached to the headset cord.
All the adapters give this headset amazing versatility.
For me it's just the perfect headset that I can wear for hours with no discomfort

This set is compatible with your PC as well as your PS4 or Xbox by way of utilizing an included Y-adapter and then plugging it into the controller
Overall:An excellent set of budget headphones that perform as well as any others I own (ranging from 30 to 150), these are just as good.
The only minor hassle is that if you use this set primarily for use on the console you'll find that the 8 foot cable is annoyingly long but if you can look past that minor inconvenience this set is well worth it.

More things to break, unnecessary weight, unnecessary cable connector, and unnecessary cost.2.
I need to plug in a connector, adding weight, and ALSO let the USB plug dangle free while I'm playing, and sometimes that's annoying.
All it does is introduce bulk, extra source of noise (yes, any interconnect is a source of noise), extra potential point of failure, unnecessary cost, unnecessary weight
