The tone is excellent and what I wanted

The electrical conductivity rating is superb and that contributes to the warm tone of these strings

They are quality strings with good tone

They have the best sound I've found in a flat wound

Good strings with good feel and good sound

I do prefer a bit stiffer of strings on the low end

I really like the fact that they are wound with monel which is a superior form of stainless that uses mostly nickel plus copper, iron, manganese, carbon, silicon and even a little titanium to produce an alloy that is almost entirely impervious to acids and corrosion which makes them keep looking good and the strength of monel keeps your Bass in tune far longer because they just don't stretch like common strings

Monel is quite expensive to make, it's triple the cost of high quality stainless steel and that's why it's used in Aerospace, the Marine industry

I gave them only 3 stars because the low 2 strings don't have enough tension, especially the low B string

I have a rather aggressive dynamic fingerpicking style and these strings feel great on both hands, have less whispery noise when you move across the strings, and sound richer and better (to me) in all clean, distorted, and effected modes.
