Radio is exactly what I expected and came with a great price :)

Great thing to have during an emergency situation, especially if you live in an area prone to hurricanes/typhoons.

, the radio has great range as far as finding stations, the weather station works perfectly, the light is very bright, it has a reading light under the solar panel that gives a wide bright light and is perfect for when the power goes out or if you just want to listen to the ball game while working out in the yard.

There is a powerful light, a flashlight, an am/fm radio, a solar panel, a generator....and it all works!

The sound comes out very clear , not like the old transistor radios from earlier days.

The flashlight itself is not very bright, much dimmer than my $3 LED flashlights.

In fact, in order to turn the tuning dial you need to hold the radio...somehow your hand acts like an antenna; when you put the radio down, you lose your reception

However, when you're out somewhere it barely recognizes radio stations and once you finally dial one in you think you're good...except that within minutes the radio will lose reception.

Although it is a little bulkier than I anticipated the usefulness of this product makes it a must have in any bug out bag.

SOS is nice and loud, but may not be able to hear in an emergency with commotion going on by neighbors very easily

And I like the sos feature as well, overall a great little emergency radio.

Its a slide switch which is tough to determine what position its actually in (except the annoying sos mode, that 1 is obviously easy to figure out).
