Rust-Oleum 260510 Automotive 2-in-1 Filler & Sandable Primer, 12 Oz, Gray
I still print with thin layers (0.2mm or less) because this stuff is not magical, it can only fill very small gaps between layers, and requires several coats.
Used this stuff to fill in the lines of a 3d print and it worked wonders
great stuff, how did I not know of this filler primer!
This stuff is gold, but has to be used right for best effect.1 can primer, 2 cans paint, 1 can clear gloss made these chairs look perfect (I paid more for paint than I did the chairs, but it was well worth it).I'm talking wood, just wood here.

Easy to use and great price
Works well and priced reasonably on Amazon.
Not as good as dupicolor but its half the price and does a good job still

Was able to smooth out some bondo work for a nice seamless smooth finish
I suggest using 400-1000 grit sandpaper with it to get the best finish
so I can give it a quick sand, and reapply for a flawless finish
Great for sanding to a real smooth finish
It says that within 2-4 hours in the correct heat & humidity, you can then begin sanding away for a nice finish

This filler/primer spray paint is really nice, if you give it enough time to fully dry
Works as advertised perfectly every time
Made 5 times the work and had to waste a ton of sandpaper....
I've used this product numerous times on different applications and it worked great every time.

Then 400-600 base coat then clear coat
Then applied a couple coats of black base coat and top coated with some gloss.
One coat of this plus a good sanding is enough to get rid of the lines completely, and it's a lot easier than an epoxy-based one like XTC3D.
The directions on the spray can say that it dries to touch within 10 minutes, where you can then give it another coat if you'd like, or leave it to sit and become sandable

I did try the product on another similar material and it failed again
I've used this product numerous times on different applications and it worked great every time.
Great product especially for filling in 3-D printed projects
It is a cheap 1k product made for the people who don’t want to invest in a sprayer or hvlp and do it the professional way
Not a good product for automotive use it doesn't have a fan spray

Wet sanded great for meIn wood
It dries quick, sands easy, and is a great value for the money
It fills most stuff, a little wood filler and/or bondo and really good sanding does the trick
One coat of this plus a good sanding is enough to get rid of the lines completely, and it's a lot easier than an epoxy-based one like XTC3D.
I tried wet sanding with 500 grit 3M wet sandpaper, and it smeared and gummed up immediately.

perfect for filling in layer lines and easily sanding them down for clean results.
Bad product in my experience and my results!
I am currently using it on a 3D printed project, and the results are pretty nice so far
Went on motorcycle fairings and gave me excellent results once said in done.
