know what, or leave your Rylo (which is amazingly well built) unprotected, the lens covers are made of a plastic that is far too soft and scratches by merely rubbing against your clothes so now I’m stuck on vacation with no choice but to hope for the best and shoot without the case , I do not recommend this item and if you find another option try that instead, I’ve used GoPros for years and never had any experience anything like this

It’s a huge time commitment even on a short 10 min video to get it to final upload on YouTube where it can be viewed but even then YouTube might not recognize it as s

I’ve been wearing the same pair of Maui Jim’s for 10 years not scratch

and I believe clarity in water to be good.

However, outside of the water I did notice a slight loss in clarity when using in a bright sunny day, such as skiing or at beach.

At least for this price comes nice package ... in a box .

Given Rylos amazing stabilization and the way it camptures footage a scratch on the lens will bounce around the frame creating a huge distraction when compared to a comprable point and shoot camera
