Radio works great with Bluetooth which I needed for the shop.
I already have ryobi equipment so the radio worked well,portable sound quality is descent for size of unit,can use a battery don't have to use a cord. having music to listen to while working a project makes the day go by better.
Aside from that one criticism, the radio worked great for me.

Love the idea you can use your smart phone and charge it at the same time
Was not that great of sound and using Bluetooth sound was not that loud when all the way up on both phone and speaker looks nice but just not great sound.
Hook up your old MP3 player or phone up to it and it works like a champ.
Easily connected to my phone great sound quality.
Charge my phone and love the blue tooth

like you think a work radio would sound, it has great bass and clear sound
It has clear vocals, surprisingly good bass, and the setup and controls for the use of the stereo in the included instruction manual are clear, and very easy to read and understand
The bass goes BOOM and the quality is hard to match.

WHY I bought this newer, improved Ryobi "boombox" that would not only power up from batteries on hand but also simple extension cord if safely mounted near shower/whirlpool

BUT design is modern , nice color , design for hard work , practical , charge my telephone in an emergency , the Bluetooth super easy to set ....... and dual
Bluetooth stopped working after about five weeks of use.
For me, this is a great Bluetooth speaker with a radio and rechargable battery.
Bluetooth hardly works...limited range of 10 feet.
Also Bluetooth is solid, easy to connect to and gives good distance from this radio

Volume is sufficient.
You can have this on for hours at a pretty good volume and not have to worry about running out of batteries.

The antenna does not pick up very well but a really good quality sound could be better
And surprisingly at this price point, this boombox delivers good quality sound for a tool brand stereo

I knocked off one star because I want to say what many other people have noticed, the FM/AM radio sucks
Not sure if worth the money, AM/FM and aux for music, will NOT charge the battery while plugged into extension cord - the battery actually covers the plugin for the AC power
FM radio reception is ok, but not great.
I did notice that the FM was a little distorted when I walked up on it.
it was a weak FM signal I had to use to listen to the movie
