Handly little thing, my sata SSD worked in it, some old laptop drive worked in it as well, speeds were tolerable for the price

I stuck an old 300gig spindle drive in it to transfer files from PC to PC and it worked flawlessly and at USB 3 speed.

To improve speed I replaced the HDD in the laptop with a solid state drive and performed a clean install of Windows 10.
