No nice way to put this - it simply was not recognized as an active accessible drive by my Windows 10 laptop

My only issue is the system does not recognize the external drive right way when re-starting the laptop

Since there's no specification for an A to A cable, there are at least 4 different logical ways you can wire up a this cable - good luck finding the right one, and too bad if you burn your drive or computer by trying the wrong one.

I read that the housing is difficult to open, I anticipated a struggle but when the unit arrived it was easy enough to open and the way it is opened was intuitive, the housing is fairly sturdy and looks as if it's made out of ABS (Could be wrong, not interested in a heat test to check).Overall solid build quality, it with even an SSD in it the weight feels right in the hand and not cheap or flimsy

Turns out proprietary cabling (which I don't have) is needed, so an external case/adapter seemed like a reasonable way to go
