Anyway, I'm 5'2" and this is the perfect height for me to rest my feet, and it's much more comfortable than one of those plastic things I was considering before I learned about the existence of these cushion type foot rests.

I would suggest measuring out a 6" height under your workspace, and seeing if this height would be comfortable for you
I DO have a good quality executive chair, but it is pretty high even at it's lowest setting.
The Safco foot cushion is really a great quality product, and though I haven't had it for long, it has already made a huge difference in my comfort level while working at my desk; and for such a great price, it's really worth adding to your workspace.

I had seen a similar product on Amazon for a few dollars less, but read reviews saying the cover wasn't soft enough, and the non-stick rubber dots were both noneffective and falling off, which is why I decided to purchase the Safco
The cover feels like "real" fabric, or at the very least it doesn't feel like cheap non-woven polypropylene fabric (similar to ones used for the backing on double-sided CD sleeves)
I like this a lot, but am giving it 3 stars (not 4) because the outer cover is very difficult to take off to wash, which was important for me in picking the item.

This brings my legs up just enough to relieve lower back pain
and I wish the foam was stiffer, it compresses pretty easily and I end up drooping my legs more than I'd like to get "comfortable" with it

When I put the entire weight of my legs on it, my feet sink in maybe an inch, but the cushion doesn't collapse
The things are a nuisance and difficult to vacuum or sweep up.
The only thing that I would have liked is for the bottom to have a rubberized grip so that it can stay in place on a tile floor better

I use one of these both at my office and in my home office, and the only bad thing that I can say about them is that the material is not indestructible.

It's dose not scratch my wood floor, I keep it under my desk
The zipper can potentially scratch your wooden floor if you're not careful.
Another thing to be aware of is the zipper is on the bottom of the cushion where it can potentially scratch up your hard wood (or other types of) floor
When on hard wood floors and I adjust or move the pillow, the zipper scratches across the wood floor
