Samson Go Mic Portable USB Condenser Microphone

    • It takes a good bit of effort to un-tuck the mic
    • The ball joint connecting the mic to the clip is a bit loose.
    • * The headphone jack is a little bit difficult to pull out once you plug it in
    • It also has a green light that turns red when your audio starts "clipping" which basically means it gets too loud to record so the quality starts suffers quite a bit
    • However, if you are a bit more quiet, or just want better sound quality because the closer you are, the better the sound quality
    • The cable is the bulkiest bit but typical of any cable
    • I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews regarding room noise, popping, etc., and was prepared for disappointment
    • My voice sounded a bit clear on Samson Go Mic when compared to my Logitech C920 built-in mic
    • The form factor is a bit strange but t does the job - really clear recording!I considered the Blue Snowflake, but this seems about comparable and it was a few bucks cheaper and had higher reviews.
    • I was a bit skeptical
    • Joint/clip mount is a bit odd when sitting on a table--seems much more accustomed to using on a stand or clipped to a laptop
    • My voice seems to sound like I have a bit of a constant sore throat
    • This is a bit unusual at first, but now I miss this feature whenever I need to use headphones with my cellphone
    • The clamping mouth is a bit small, and the ball joint on the mic is a bit loose
    • Will take a good bit of fiddling to get the right balance of settings to achieve this effect where only your voice triggers it but doable
    • It picks up background noise a bit, but what do you expect for the price
    • I was a bit skeptical about how well this tiny condenser microphone would perform
    • This is a great portable microphone but it's a bit too shrill for my use on the radio, unless I was in a pinch and needed to use it
