Ambient room noise is high, but it's a solid unit with good functions.

The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's not utterly incredible in sound quality since without isolating the microphone, you get ambient room noise.

You can make presets for room noise and how much the mic will pic up

This mic may be good for podcasting in quiet environments, but it picks up far too much room noise and noise from the surface it is sitting on to be useful for VoIP calls in the real world

Room noise was not an issue at all (any good mic requires attention to ambient noise), and I experienced no popping (for voice work, I place all mics to the side and don't speak directly into them).The only negative for my day-to-day use is the need for cord storage

The only gotcha is since it's a condenser mic, it's susceptible to room noise; so if you have a noisy room it will affect your audio quality
