Reviews around netflix (5.00 of 5)

  • (+) Plays Blu-ray, DVD, and Netflix well.
  • Also a lot of the negative reviews, especially regarding Netflix, seems to no longer apply, as it's the best standalone Netflix device, Youtube, that I have used
  • Netflix films support HD and 5.1 audio when the film has it, and your broadband connection supports it

Reviews around dvd (5.00 of 5)

  • This is a good BD/DVD player with most, but perhaps not all, the features you might wish for
  • It is the first DVD/BD player or PC that would not play my Region 0 (region-free) DVD collection from the UK

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • Great price for a player that looked new and goes for twice the price.
  • The Samsung BD-HM57C is DLNA compatible and compliant with Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), which automatically changes the input source of a compatible TV.PROS:Reasonable price with an extensive menu of apps and streaming features including Netflix, Amazon, Hula, YouTube and Internet
  • Works Great at a great price

Reviews around play (5.00 of 5)

  • The content being played is protected by Cinavia™ and is not authorized for playback on this device
  • I had to convert all of my DLNA server files to MP4 for them to work, even though my other smart plays AVI

Reviews around feature (3.86 of 5)

  • Amazon says:> This product lacks a key feature that is found on the similar and better featured, more widely available BD-F5700, such as Anynet +Not true, the User Manual states it does have AnyNet+ functionality.
  • Amazon says:> This product lacks a key feature that is found on the similar and better featured, more widely available BD-F5700, such as Anynet +Not true, the User Manual states it does have AnyNet+ functionality.
  • A nice feature was that the remote could control the TV as far as turning it on and off and to select input.
  • One of my most important features on selecting this unit, DLNA support, has bugs, and needs work, as I have to unplug the unit from power, in order to be able to see all my files and directories on my Seagate Central 4TB DLNA NAS server on the LAN.What good is Multi Codec support on the 57C, if you can't see the file list to play
  • I love the WIFI, 1080p up-conversion and digital audio features.

  • With the ease of use, great HD video, and quick blue ray load times, this product is fantastic
  • Not sure why Samsung revises a product enough to be differentiated, but yet markets with the same model number
  • An absolute horrible product from

Reviews around device (3.61 of 5)

  • All other devices I have hardly ever have problems with Internet connection but this blu ray player never works.
  • One of the functions about the player that I find both amusing and delightful is once a disc is inserted into the tray and the drawer closed, the television activates and selects the appropriate ancillary device.
  • TV.The two units link up with the built-in BD-Wise capability that harmonizes Samsung devices
  • Also a lot of the negative reviews, especially regarding Netflix, seems to no longer apply, as it's the best standalone Netflix device, Youtube, that I have used

Reviews around player (3.44 of 5)

  • A very good BD/DVD/Streaming player if you can connect to just HDMI and Coax Digital outlets, and you don't expect to play PAL format discs
  • We purchased our units based on Samsung's reputation for making dependable players
  • I despise this blu ray player
  • DO NOT buy this.....it's the WORSE player ever !
  • This is a good BD/DVD player with most, but perhaps not all, the features you might wish for
  • Read remaining 7 reviews for player
