I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews (and you should too)

I called the local service shop, and they had no record of my ticket number, and told me to call the Samsung 1-800 number again and try to get a number that begins with a 4 instead of a 9.I decided instead to write an unfavorable review in the hope that others will be prevented from this hassle

There were a lot of similar bad reviews about the same issues before mine - listen and don't buy!!!

I found the reviews for this microwave to be pretty

It is still too new to give an accurate review.

I chose it because I didn't find any really negative reviews on it and every other brand of microwave seemed to have lots of unhappy owners.

Toshiba seems to have the least negative reviews.

In retrospect this unit has nearly 30% negative reviews

(some of the bad reviews mention problems with other customer service besides amazon's, but I got set up to return it for a refund in just 2 minutes, with amazon).Also, it was hard to tell from just looking at images in the product page, but the controls are difficult to see and difficult to use, especially in the tight space where we have to situate this item on a crowed countertop

Most of the product reviews were positive and I just hoped the negative reviews about the product were isolated incidents.
