I just got it today and set it up only to find out the Smart Hub where all the apps are accessed does not work
Smart Hub is fast, and I like how the apps display where I've been.
I called Samsung customer service about the issue and I was told by a representative that this particular model is faulty where users try to access the Smart Hub and nothing happens
The Smart Hub menu keeps popping up every time the Input button is pushed.
It functions well enough but like many others pointed out, the sound quality is absolutely nonredeemable crap, which can only be fixed by using an external sound output which costs even more money
Like any TV of this class the sound quality is poor so if that's important to
The picture quality on this one is top notch, and sound quality seems fine for a flat panel TV
The first thing I notice is the sound quality is FAR WORSE than my old VIZIO
Like any TV of this class the sound quality is poor so if that's important to
It's been easy for my mom to learn how to use the smart tv apps.
There is a great remote control app on my iPhone MyTifi which allows my to access functions, like an on air program guide, that are not available with the included remote.
This TV gives me instant access to my smart TV apps, love it!
I love that with its wifi connection and smart apps, I am able to use everything I want without connecting any wires to it at all other than the power cable
You can reposition the various apps in the menu for quick access to the ones you use most frequently, and you can remove unneeded apps as well to reduce clutter
Just.......IDK.......completely lost all power to the TV
It is a known problem that the tv will issues powering on
I would have been very happy with the set---HOWEVER, my first issue has to do with the loose power cord (the tiniest bump will cause the TV to shut off even though the cord is still plugged in AND SECURELY TAPED, and I have cats who like to sleep next to the TV (even if I didn't have cats, this would be a great annoyance as the electrical connection is loose enough to shut off even when simply adjusting the viewing angle) so this is a frequent problem
