Reviews around size (4.26 of 5)

  • Stuck with the 7.0" because I like the size, easy to hold in one hand and just easy to use sitting on the couch without being cumbersome
  • it is a nice size, but the slight lag might annoy me.
  • Great Tablet and perfect size for my 6 year old grandson.
  • I got the 7 inch again vs the other sizes for its greater pixel size for a sharper clarity and the sound
  • It makes for a nice size reader...buy a kindle instead if that is all you want.

Reviews around product (4.03 of 5)

  • I'm comfortable giving this 5 stars, due to the excellent way Amazon handled this necessary exchange and Samsung's excellent product (now that I have a unit with a working motherboard).

  • The worst product ever

Reviews around samsung (3.86 of 5)

  • Originally bought the Nexus about six months ago for around the same price and believed the two devices would be on par, maybe even that the Samsung would be a little more robust
  • My previous tablet was a LG G pad which I loved but the 1 gig of ram did not allow me to play Game of War fire age properly
  • The Tab A is a great looking tablet, The only thing missing here, It doesn't support 802.11 N in 5 GHz mode

Reviews around design (3.61 of 5)

  • The Tab A is a great looking tablet, The only thing missing here, It doesn't support 802.11 N in 5 GHz mode
  • My previous tablet was a LG G pad which I loved but the 1 gig of ram did not allow me to play Game of War fire age properly
  • So aside from the better benchmark number, a nicer body design in my opinion and an updated Android OS, the jump from a 1.2Ghz cpu to a 1.3Ghz cpu is unnoticeable by me using both Tabs
  • This tab better built, cool design, battery life is way better and over just saying you can't really go wrong with any Samsung tabs or Samsung products period.

  • No other device in my house has this issue
  • A great Samsung device backed up with Amazons pricing and outstanding customer

Reviews around screen (2.65 of 5)

  • Some apps can use the “split screen” feature which is nice
  • A nice, vibrant screen paired with a lightweight frame make this a good choice for a great entry level tablet
  • (There was something wrong with the motherboard which resulted in crazy and unreadable screen displays.)
  • Good tablet, solid construction, screen is more dense than other 7" models and reads very good.

Reviews around controller (2.54 of 5)

  • Apparently a $5 OTG USB adapter will work with USB XBOX360 controllers just as well, but I have not tested that yet.
  • The Tab A is a great looking tablet, The only thing missing here, It doesn't support 802.11 N in 5 GHz mode

Reviews around app (2.28 of 5)

  • I have noticed on the tab pro A, it 's not bombarded with as many unwanted apps like my old tab 2 was
  • The app would constantly crash and I eventually had to resort to taking off facebook and other apps that take up alot of space in the background
  • Everything works as it should.
  • I bought these thinking we could use kids mode, the free samsung app
  • In the end, you just disable all these useless apps and the tablet runs fast

Reviews around network issue (1.00 of 5)

  • sale). My brother returned his Tab A and bought the Asus Zenpad 8" tablet, and has had no network issues
  • Like I said, I would have kept it if both of them didn't have network issues
  • The reason I returned this tablet is because of network issues
  • I wish mine worked, but again my brother's Tab A had network issues too, and his Asus doesn't
  • If you buy a Tab A 7" and have network issues, you have been warned.
