The available features on the watch are nice, but I wish I could customize them more.
-
It's easy to customize your watch face with Samsung's GearWatchDesigner program, a decent number of apps are available, and the rotating bezel is a great feature
-
Notify me of text and email (because I keep my phone muted to not interrupt meetings), pedometer and heartrate, lots of cool watch faces, and other cool and smart features (timer, calendar, weather, news, sport game alerts, etc...)
-
Great features as well as great customization options for it!
-
Great watch with great features but battery life is not two days
-
The smart watch can also be set up as a stand alone device to send and receive phone calls while your phone is at home - a neat feature, but not worth the extra $5 my phone company would charge for adding it as a standalone device (but if you frequently forget your phone, you may want to consider).
-
You will have to charge it at bight but that's all you really wanted right?.It has nice features and its comfortable.
-
Great fitness features, decent battery life.
-
band keeps detaching from watch, MAJOR FAIL ON BAND DESIGN, watch features good, limited range from phone
-
This one had 2 strong features.
-
I think his favorite feature is the text to speak reply to texts option
-
The touchscreen feature doesn't work
-
The screen and bezel feature worked flawlessly
-
The features are great however at the price I expected the band's to hold up a lot better than they did
-
The bezel rotating is a fantastic feature
-
I love the integration with S Health and enjoy the mapping feature to show my bike rides.
-
and I like the features
-
The battery life is absolutely superb, wireless charging is such a welcome feature, and the screen looks fantastic
-
I get a kick out of the fruit company users raving over the new features coming in their next version and sit back smugly while I enjoy all those features and more NOW while not looking like a nerd!
-
The pulse feature when receiving text messages and emails is also pretty cool
-
This watch is missing 2 features that really lile about my gear neo...
-
Great watch and features... can't stop playing with it
-
Five stars, excellent smart watch with great features and software that pair perfectly with my Galaxy Note 5
-
Another feature I like using it the music app, whatever is playing on the phone can be controlled by the watch
-
but I really like the feature of being able to find my phone, change the face of my watch and text
-
Lots of cool features
-
It's not great for taking phone calls, but all the other features are great.
-
Other features are mediocre
-
One nice feature about this watch is that if you raise your wrist (in a motion like you would to check the time on any watch) the S2 will “awake” and light the watch face display,
-
I liked the messaging and incoming call features.
-
but it's a nice feature to have when you go for a run and forget your earbuds
-
It has many great features
-
Very feature rich, stylish and perfectly sized
-
Some nice features for music playing and exercise monitoring
-
Easy to operate, great features for the price.
-
Love all the features and with more and more apps coming available this is a great product
-
It is so convenient not having to check the phone and the updates have added many good features
-
Although the Samsung Gear S2 watch is loaded with many nice features like its rotating bezel, it's few negatives make this watch a hard one to get excited about.
-
Lots of great features.
-
I love the new-to-me features in this product!
-
I really liked the features and it was very easy to understand how to use it
-
The best feature is not having to dig your phone out of your pocket to check on a text or email that you receive
-
Much easier to use, beautiful looking, lots and lots of useful features, - need I continue?I highly recommend this gorgeous smartwatch to anyone - young or old!
-
It's a shame Samsung removed such a desirable feature
-
And the features are awesome
-
I preferred the round feature to the other offerings available
-
when you forgot where you set down your phone or are just too lazy to take it out of your pocket, is one of its best features
-
My boyfriend uses it daily and loves all the features it provides him
-
That feature is not available on this phone
-
Love this watch, super buy, enjoying features, great look.
-
Cool features, but useless because of terrible battery life
-
I love the shealth features
-
I contacted Samsung and they have confirmed that feature is not available unless you have a Samsung phone
-
Rotating Bezel: Absolutely fantastic design feature
-
I bought this for my son and he loves every features of this smartwatch
-
The Gear was everything I wanted however, it was missing the main feature of receiving and making calls.
-
the rotating bezel beats having to swipe the screen- feature - wise,
-
The cool features that everyone brags about are true, however they are worthless when the watch doesn't work.
-
Nice features and interaction with my GS7e
-
Samsung has some good features on the watch, but more can be made to make it great
-
It is very disappointing to use a Samsung phone that is feature rich with google maps, Gmail, and Play, only to have a matching watch that basically forces you to use Samsung's crappier, buggier versions of google apps.
-
Since then I found a cheaper device with good reviews and the same, if not more features, waiting to see if that one works!Keep looking, sometimes the most expensive items aren't the
-
Waterproof, looks great....really good features and
-
I also really like the vibrate feature
-
The watch face dial is a nice feature, you're still going to use the touch screen.
-
Great features, easy to use, works beautifully & made of great materials!
-
Additionally, being able control the music on my phone is a great feature
-
Love all the features too.
-
I also really like the vibrate feature
-
I use SHealth all the time, love how it integrates with my Samsung Edge S7 and the features are really sweet.
-
it's a very classy watch, love the features and looks of it
-
The rotating bezel that many of you may have read about is a fantastic design feature that is a better take on the Apple Watch crown (more on that below)
-
The watch is supposed to use gyroscopic measures to wake up when you raise your wrist, but this feature has been inconsistent and laggy at best
-
You can not disable this feature and it happens once per week
-
After turning off all the health features the battery life is solid, unless you use features like the stopwatch for extended periods of time, which keeps the screen on
-
Worked well, good features, and a reasonable price.
-
but I am not a super hero those features are worthless to me.
-
The built-in speaker on a wearable is an important feature to myself and many others
-
I sent it to the Samsung and they were unable to repair the watch or honor the warranty as they did not have the parts or the software to fix it.
-
You can hear the glass creaking as you wear it
-
My suggestion to you all is, if you must buy this watch, get it from Best Buy with a 2 year warranty and make them replace it every year when the battery starts to die as it will.
-
Even though HR is on demand meaning you need to touch the screen to check heart rate it does not bother me as I thought it would
-
Works exactly as I want it to, except doesn't have a Starbucks app which the Fitbit ionic and versa do
-
You can set as many notifications as you'd like from your phone (which I do), but you can't access them directly on the watch
-
It freezes at least once a
-
Only down side is that as others have mentioned the apps are limited as of now
-
Voice to text just doesn't work as it comes
