The Samsung Gear S2 on the surface looks like a great offering

I LOVE my Gear s2, ive been wanting one but being an older model hard to find

It outperforms the gear S2 in every area except for a resolution

 I've owned several of the prior generations of Samsung gear smart watches including: the original Gear, Gear 2, Gear Live, and Gear fit

After owning the watch for 6 months I am extremely disappointed in the exercise tracking capabilities of this the Gear 2

The Gear S2 is far and away the best of them all and arguably the best smart watch currently on the market.

I personally like the gear s2 because it's smaller and it look less masculine than the original gear s.

(actually the original Gear S was more accurate with distance than the Gear S2).

Still is every bit as capable as the gear s3 just now almost 50 percent cheaper

I had the gear 2 and besides the fact that I didn't like the square design, I really loved it, including the rich-looking leather band, being able to talk on it and take pictures as well as monitor my sleep.

Whereas the Fitbit felt HUGE on my wrist, the Samsung Gear S2 feels like a nice size, even for my small arms.

The Gear S2 we purchased new has been back for the same service twice in 6 months and is broken again.

The fitbit is great as well it just doesn't have as much app support the gear or apple watch have

I love the gear ring as a control and the watch is solid overall

Gear s2 classic is just so beautiful!

My Gear S2 was free (from a Samsung/Verizon deal with my preorder of the Galaxy S7 Edge).

Probably better off going with the Gear S2 Classic (doesn't scratch) or the newer Gear S3's.

I bought it only reluctantly because the original gear had a flaw with the charging strip on watch itself being worn out

I was thrilled to see that the fantastically reviewed Gear S2 was being touted as iOS compatible and thought it might be the best of both worlds

Really enjoying my new Samsung Gear S2 Classic Platinum watch.

It's one of the few smart watches geared toward ladies and they still let us down

Also when you first receive it make sure you update it, you will see it runs just as smooth as the gear s3 and has some of the same updated features added to it once you update.

Absolutely LOVE my Gear S2 Classic

The gear has freed up my hands giving me more access to mobility

The Gear S2 actually works very well in terms of tracking my progress everyday.

I am really enjoying my new Gear S2 smart watch

I have the Gear S2 Classic and it does everything I need it to do

I sent it to the Samsung and they were unable to repair the watch or honor the warranty as they did not have the parts or the software to fix it.

You can hear the glass creaking as you wear it

My suggestion to you all is, if you must buy this watch, get it from Best Buy with a 2 year warranty and make them replace it every year when the battery starts to die as it will.

Even though HR is on demand meaning you need to touch the screen to check heart rate it does not bother me as I thought it would

Works exactly as I want it to, except doesn't have a Starbucks app which the Fitbit ionic and versa do

You can set as many notifications as you'd like from your phone (which I do), but you can't access them directly on the watch

It freezes at least once a

Only down side is that as others have mentioned the apps are limited as of now

Voice to text just doesn't work as it comes
