Love the waterproof feature and the battery life but tizen/S health are way behind
(You can download the Flaunt widget which will keep any screen of your choosing on for 30 minutes but it drains even more battery life than the standard always on feature.
horrible battery life
I purchased the Samsung gear sport to help me live a more healthy active life style and it counts every step perfectly and accurately.
it just screams quality... the Samsung Tizen OS is also so fast n buttery smooth!Battery life is great also
So if you get on the elliptical and workout for 30 minutes, you will have the same calorie burn as if you tell it you are on the elliptical but instead go sit on the couch
All in all it worked well, the display was really good, and it was even comfortable to wear.
The Gear Sport has more features, an amazing display, and a higher quality feel than the Vivoactive 3
All in all, I'm so glad the Fitbit didn't work as it was more expensive, less user friendly (in my opinion), yest this watch has many, many features that the average person who is of beginner to moderate fitness would enjoy.
Love the encircling display that you can rotate to scroll between options on the screen
I love this watch for the bright beautiful screen clarity, the UI, the abundance of apps, S voice to do hands-free commands, quickly able to change or make new watch faces, and many other features that are available (though honestly it might be a little overwhelming how much is available to use with this watch). It has onboard GPS, is waterproof (so I don't have to worry about accidentally splashing it too much as the sink)
I gave this watch 3 stars due to the fact that it lacks some features I thought it would have
If your looking for a glorified pedometer with some smart features then this watch is great.
This watch has nice features, however an unforgivable amount of inaccuracy in a "sports tracker" I hate to say I do not reccommend.

Another issue: when I'm running, and the screen is not on, the watch sometimes "forgets" to tell me that I completed another kilometer
I almost always use the "always on" display and with some shirts the screen goes crazy
Also, it took a month for the screen to become unreadable.
This is the most vivid and sharp screen on any device I own (laptop, tablet, phone)
This is really a great smartwatch but in the end I found what I really wanted was a regular watch that could do a few extra things and quite honestly no one has really made one since Pebble.
I would much rather just sell this thing to someone who wants a pretty smartwatch and go buy a Fitbit Versa

Only had this watch a coupl of days but it seems like a great smartwatch
The 2nd one told me I needed to do a soft reset, proceeded to walk me through it... and walked me through a hard reset which obviously deleted all my data, my custom watch faces, and my settings
The 3rd person asked, "Well, didn't you back up your data before doing the hard reset

I reached out toSamsung support and they said I would have to do a hard reset meaning clearing and reinstalling the app and reloading the playlist/songs
I have also, done a hard reset with out it being any better.
How the hell can you claim water damage on a 50m WR watch
I am writing this review because of how Samsung is treating many of us who have turned in a warranty claim only to have it returned with a letter stating "unfortunately we cannot repair the watch due to water damage".
