I installed a free app called face your fears and I had to rip this vr off my head because it was so intense, but I mean that in a good way

Vr is a nice way to chill out and do things in a way mostly unfamiliar to most people

so if nothing else, it's a good way to test if you want a more pricey VR headset down the road

For an entry level VR, this is the most cost-effective way to go

Still a good buy, however, and priced along retail store prices.

The Gear VR is worth every penny and offers up cutting edge games and experiences at a reasonable price

At a considerably cheaper price point than the HTC Vive and the PlayStation VR, its features and quality did not fail to impress

For the record, this newer 2017 Samsung Gear VR doesn't get hot like the 2015 version and my smartphone battery lasts a lot longer now

Samsung Gear is not great for shooters or any of the other games you'd get from other mainstream VR headsets

This is the worst experience for customer service I’ve ever had.

Overall a disappointment, thought it might enhance the Winter Olympics experience for us.

The experience is well worth the money, I feel like a kid again playing Nintendo for the first time :-)

The games are cheaper than the other VR systems as well (even identical games).There are definitely limitations, and you may find yourself needing to invest in a new gaming controller for this as well but keeping those things in mind up front, this is definitely a fun toy to have.

I have a note 5 and the only problem is the best grafics games won't support my old phone

You have to download a very shady app that bypasses the Samsung VR setup

I deleted the useless apps off my phone, but if anyone wants the names of them, I will look them up for you

I like the vr experience from roller coasters to yraveling there is always something to watch, my phone loses battery fast though and it gets very hot too.

If you leave your phone in it, it will drain your battery, so plug it in to keep phone charged

Sadly It also gives me motion sickness, so I have to use it in short sessions
