The price is great, I think the burning process was maybe a little on the slow side, but I have it plugged into a 4 port USB extension, not directly into a USB port on the computer
Works as advertised - very nice optical drive at a great price.
Its a good price and a reliable external player for all needs.
Great CD/DVD burner compatible with Apple products at a much better price than a burner from Apple themselves.
Great item for those devices that don't have a CD/DVD drive.
Haven't had it long so can't speak for longevity but the reason I didn't award 5 stars is that this item looks extremely fragile so I have to handle it so carefully.
This item worked well for 4 months and now it won't play any cd that I insert.
I would not purchase this item (or recommend it to a friend) if I had known that the software was only good for 30 days.
As people have pointed out it is cheap but the quality is poor.

I played a DVD just for testing purposes, and it worked as if it were built-in.
Pretty good quality optical drive for those rare times you need to use a CD

This product was very difficult to get started to use, especially since I am not a "techie".

No response, no LED light like it says in the instructions...when I pushed eject like the instructions said to, a noise, like something spinning and clicking...but no door opening
The noise is not very loud when burning media and proabbly is due to the very slim case that cannot keep it inside when spinning the media
Worked great, did what I needed and didn't make loud noises
