I needed a basic radio for my office at work because I like background noise

I did not like the low constant background noise like static

If I'm outdoors and want to listen to music I have to deal with a lot of background noise.

I can use the radio during the day when the volume can be louder than the background noise.

Not a C Crane model at double the price, but adequate

I have considered retuning it several times because its alarm and a/c are losers; keeping it because the digital radio tunes in one local station (WDNA 88.9 FM jazz) that usually is lost because of crowded, dirty bandwidth.

Other wise I like it.
