They sound great, display well, and are easy to use and set

Last month the display on the radio went bad (just displayed random characters) although the radio continued to play

To make this clock radio *perfect* in the next revision, Sangean should make the front less sloped and replace the backlit LCD display with a traditional segmented LED display in green (the color to which our eyes are most sensitive).

The display is bright at full power but with 7 dimmer adjustments you are able to get just the light from the display that you want

I'm giving the RCR-10 2 stars only because it has decent sound and a large display.

I like the the date and time display, that is an added feature.

As the unit resides on the counter, seeing the display is not an issue

This makes the display easy to read on a nightstand, but due to the limited viewing angle of the LCD, the display will be impossible to read from your bed if you put the unit up on a high dresser or bookshelf.

I keep the manual handy as it isn't always intuitive how everything works but is not difficult once I look up how to do things.
