Decent reception

Other radios either had bad reception, or just showed the name of the radio station instead of the time (kind of a big deal if you're getting ready for work in the morning), didn't have A/M radio, or were ultra complicated to set alarms, etc

The most important thing for me when I was looking for a new clock radio was to have good FM reception for the radio station I rely on for traffic reports in the morning.

The reception was quite good but it would be nice to have the option of a different antenna if desired
