The finish, however, seems pretty durable and did not scrtach or chip during shipping, handling or assembly and makes the piece look a bit more expensive and substantial than it actually is

Finish is good, but isn't perfect

Finish on the pieces is very nice, looks classy, nice texture feel

The finish doesn't look cheap, but it's a little shiny for my liking

it also leaves a smooth finish which aids in cleaning and dusting(the painted mdf on these is not sanded smooth before they are painted)

They're stable and the finish is nice, 24" is the perfect height for 12-16" bookshelf speakers.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, inexpensive but good looking stand and nice finish as well

They are made of fiberboard with a nice low luster black finish

But small price to pay for the perfect finish to our new entertainment system
