Good looking bookcase, easy to assemble and a great price!

It is a fine looking piece of furniture at a good price.

We had an expanse of wall area to cover and this provided us with the visual integrity we sought at a great price.

It's very sturdy, easy to assemble and the size is just right.

Attractive bookshelves, degree of cussing on putting them together decreased with the second one (practice makes perfect).

I would not recommend this bookcase even though it is nice material, the headache that it caused me wasn't worth it.

The bookcase is very sturdy but is much darker than pictured.

One of the screw holes was counter bored too deep and during assembly a screw penetrated the top surface of the bookcase, ruined the bookcase, totally unacceptable .The top and side veneers on most boards are of poor craftsmanship - you can see a thin line of particleboard between the veneers, along the length of the boards

It's a really sturdy shelf and it's fairly low to the ground, which is what we were looking for since she pulls herself up using anything she can reach

The middle shelf did sag a bit once loaded (I put way more on it than rated) but flipping it over solved the problem, I also added a small brace in the center for additional support, it has held up fine like that

The instructions where great and the panel boring was "right on".The finish is excellent and I'd put one together again.

The instructions warn the whole thing will collapse if the back is not nailed in place first.
