    • The battery dies after one week.
    • The lock itself is awesome but the batteries came dead and caused a headache with setup even though they siad duracel expiring in 10yrs.

    • I immediately took the battery case off, and noticed the batteries in the cartridge were extremely hot, to the point where I was worried about them exploding
    • So disregard all reviews about it eating batteries
    • Strangely enough, this lock actually reported a dead battery via the Wink app about 1 week before the front door died while we were out of town.
