Schlage Z-Wave Connect Camelot Touchscreen Deadbolt with Built-In Alarm, Satin Nickel, BE469 CAM 619, Works with Alexa via SmartThings, Wink or Iris

    • Hoping for Smart things to adopt full code support like they do with the Yale units.
    • Integration with Samsung smart things was easy, haven't setup with Alexa yet.
    • Great Lock, I have it linked with my smart things app and it works great.
    • Installed easy, tied into smart things smart home quickly and works great
    • Wish it had better app support and easier connection to the smart things hub
    • My smart things hub found the lock quickly and functions well
    • This thing is awesome
    • We did have to buy a hub (Samsung Smart Thing) so that we can lock and unlock the door remotely
    • this thing is great.
    • Not a good thing
    • While most of the basic features worked fine, there is one thing that did not work: the connection to Samsung Smartthings Hub
    • One thing I thought was very clever is the way the deadbolt is tapered, which ensures it always goes in smoothly, and that it can never get hung up.
    • Even with this problem I'll try to solve, this thing works GREAT with the Wink Hub 2.Was very easy to install, I watched a few Youtube videos which really helps accelerate how easy this was.
    • The only thing that might be a complaint is that I don't trust the battery level info that this lock sends to the Wink Hub
    • Easy to install, easy to setup, hooked up to my smart things hub with no issues.
    • I was expecting battery problems because I use a Samsung smart-things hub with it
    • I love this thing
    • Connected to Samsung Smart things.
    • It works ok with smart things, though the wifi wasn't great at the door so it would drop out for days at a
    • Liking it, a little confusing to program and needed to buy an adapter (smart things) but I enjoy the ability to open the door from my phone/alexa
    • I use it with a smart things hub and that is way cool
    • Love this thing.
    • However after installation I had to watch YouTube video to connect the device to my Samsung smart things.
    • I got it to work with Samsung smart things
    • The first lock that i installed 5 months ago is currently at 86% battery left according to smart things.
    • I LOVE this thing
    • Changing out to this keyless lock is the best thing I could have ever done!
    • I bought this smart lock on Prime Day and was excited to be able to integrate this into my z-wave network using Smart things.
    • Can also work with a traditional key, for instance if your elderly parents cant deal with "that crazy thing".
    • I have connected the lock to my Samsung Smart things
    • I also bought a Samsung Smart things hub and it was easily paired with the lock, so I could operate the lock from anywhere
    • The other thing was, once it was assembled and working (and during the test runs before I'd corrected the mis-assembly it came with), I noticed it was extremely loud - like 2-3 times the volume of my previous one.
    • Having the option to provide them with their own unique code works great by pre-programming codes into the door lock but if they cancel after getting the code and you are not home to remove the code immediately, things cold go south very quick
    • The cool thing with this lock is that it is wirelessly operated with AA batteries and provides you three ways to lock/unlock your door
    • The only negative thing I can say is that we have to change the batteries quite often.
    • Good thing I did not throw away those screws from the old unit I was replacing
    • I have it connected to my Samsung smart things and an app called lock manager which is perfect for knowing which codes open the door
    • Installed in minutes (with the help of YouTube) have smart things hub, no service charge, can monitor and lock/unlock door from my Mobile device
    • It took about 3 hours to set up the way I wanted and integrates with Samsung Smart things.
    • It doesn't pair with the app I had to download on my S9 phone, I gave up trying after about 150 tries and bought a Samsung smart things hub (which this is advertised to work with) only to find out that it won't pair with that unless I also buy a wifi adapter made by schlage
    • As others have stated this thing eats batteries like crazy.
    • But so far I absolutely love this thing.
    • I have this connected to my smart things
    • Connected to smart things in seconds
    • Can make things happen when it's locked or unlocked like turn off/on lights in the houseThe integration with external devices varies, so the next section of this review covers my experiences with my 2Gig/alarm.com panel and my SmartThings hub.2Gig/Alarm.com integration: This thing is really clunky with my 2Gig panel and doesn't inspire a lot of confidence
    • Software with zwave/Smart things could be better.
    • Had to create a device handler and install an application within the smart things app.
    • Install, like all great things, took time
    • I have been pulling my hair and just can’t sync or connect the damn thing to anything.
    • Using the smart things hub unlocks the door for me when I pull in my driveway
    • did you know there is such things as right and left handed doors?
    • Seriously can NOT say enough good things about this
    • You have to go to YouTube, copy code from some guy, access GitHub software and basically code a smart things app to do this.
    • This dramatic thing totally ruined our vacation
    • Bought this to use with Samsung Smart things hub and Google Assistant
    • This is a great thing to install.
    • Also we were able to connect it with Samsung smart things for home automation
    • Best thing ever!
    • Finally, this thing was dead the next day after installation.
    • Another thing I don't like is the 30 seconds auto lock, if the door is open should wait, however doesn't have this technology available
    • We also have this connected to our samsung smart things
    • If you can live with the limitations mentioned (if you have alexa and a smart things hub) and you follow the orientation directions: this is a satisfactory door lock.
    • You cannot add (smart things hub
    • This is 1 of the best useful thing for all houses
    • Been using this thing for a month, completely satisfied
    • Love this thing.
    • but like all things Smart time will tell if it keeps its connection and doesn't drop of the network.
    • If u have a smart things hub and use the RBoy device handler, this lock is legit.
    • The best thing to happen to door knobs
    • Hooking it up to smart things was so easy
    • I got three duds in a row or there is something seriously wrong with this product or how it integrates into Smart things
    • beyond awesome! especially with Samsung Smart things......
    • The zwave feature worked fine with the Samsung smart things hub
    • The lock is very solidly built and connects easy to the smart things app from samsung.
