Regarding the excessive use of batteries, I'm hoping that I've minimized the power draw by spending extra time to get the bolt lock action as smooth and friction free as possible

so no excessive battery use

It ignores the programming code anyway even when "awake", so no use of this lock now.

Finally works now , but I’m a little uneasy using it remotely, afraid it won’t really be locked.

Looks and functions perfect (using with SmartThings hub).

Use of keypad is easy and I just tell people to push the Schlage logo on the lock when they leave and its locked

I would not recommend using this lock if you're wanting more security than a standard deadbolt.

Takes some getting used to but love the auto-lock feature.

When used in offline mode, I have no complaints at all.

Poor battery not long use...could waste ur bucks!
