as others have mentioned, that vent mount goes in *tight* and has two different orientations for "large" and "small" vent fins

Both adhesive pads failed when trying to secure the mount to my dash

Most impressively, I have two mounted in my shower to hang up the iPad for Netflix and the adhesive has no signs of wearing down from all the steam

The mount did not stick to the dash board and fell right after after trying to attach my phone.

The mount fell completely off of the dash within a week.

I couldn't find a good spot on the RX450H dash/console/windshield for any mount to work well, and I didn't want to block any vents using vent clipped mounts either.

I have had other magnetic mounts before and they worked awesome.

Only problem I've had was with the vent mount on a 12hr plow shift the heat from the vent degraded the adhesive on the metal plate but some 3m spray adhesive took care of that.

The mount works as advertised.

This is a great charger and phone mount but the blue light is a little bright at night

Mount is all flat; top, bottom and side, whereas my mirror is curved on all sides

Haven’t found anything as reliable as magnetic mounts and these are easy to swap to another car and fit any vent.

Love these little SCOSCHE mag mounts - never had a issue with them - I've had these in at least six different cars & they've always worked perfectly - heat doesn't seem to effect them - the actual mag mount - the adhesive on the mounting plates which connect to the phone - meh - another issue - I've had issue with the mount plate - cause i usually put the mount plate on the back of my phone case - thus - in extreme Texas

Off road, or just over time, the mount will always start to droop down

I would suggest use gorilla glue cuz 3M isn’t perfect for warm weather

If you have some 3M double-sided sticky tape on hand then maybe purchase it but you’re better off getting a name brand

If you mess up you can buy 3M 'VHB' tape from auto store
