I give this a 4/5 because the magnet power is amazing but the tape it comes with is garbage

Now I have to figure out how to scrap double sided tape off

The problem is the 3M tape.

I use the phone magnet between/behind my case and next to my phone (and without having peeled off the sticky tape)

first adhesive tape failed but the extra adhesive didn't fail mewonderful product

It doesn't stay in place and the adhesive tape is poor.

What i love about this mount is the part that mounts to the dash has a great double sided tape, is flexible to mount to a curved surface, and adheres quite well to my dash (even left out in the sun for 10 hours).

I had the Scosche magnetic mouth that users sticky tape, it held well and the device never fell off.

The 3m tape is terrible

You guys should use a stronger tape to make it work at the least

I have a older car, so the dashboard is not "smooth" so the 3M tape initially stick, but over time, I have had to add stronger double sided tape to anchor the based to the dash.

If you have some 3M double-sided sticky tape on hand then maybe purchase it but you’re better off getting a name brand

Have applied in my car but have had to buy 3M tape to secure it to the dashboard.

Scraped off their crap and applied 3M adhesive tape ($7 at a local auto parts store), works like a champ now.

Adhesive tape for mounting is phenomenal....make sure you have it where you want it the first time because it aint coming off easily

Fell off after a week, need new mounting tape and would work good as new, be wary of curved surfaces

Within the first day of use the sticky tape was not able to hold the phone, the second day the magnet adhesive that sticks to the back of the phone was coming off too, I would not recommend this kind of mount

The magnet seems to be of decent quality as does the mount itself however the adhesive tape on the bottom of the mount that is used to secure this item is completely garbage waste that doesn’t adhere to anything rendering this product utterly useless

It works much better, and it is much more aesthetically pleasing than using pathetic tape.

The mounting tape is extremely strong and so are the magnets that hold your ohone to the mount

The sticky tape that it comes with is a joke, but I just went out and bought gorilla double sided tape and that sucker isn't moving anytime soon

The biggest problem I encountered is the mounting tape

If you are mounting it to a textured surface, try it, but expect to peel it off and use a better adhesive tape

The Dash mount magnet has a small base and I was able to put the magnet inside my cell phone case without even using the #m sticky tape.

I had to use my own clear mounting tape to make it stick to my dash.

only thing is i screwed it to the dash because i didn't trust the tape.

n’t regretted it the best is not to big and it doesn’t fall.

n’t vouch for how it will hold up during the hot summer, but it was easy to install, and it holds my iPhone securely

Wireless charging for iPod X still works as long as you put the plate near the bottom of the phone.
