I was planning on using this on my windshield, but the suction cup has this really sticky quality to it, and it easily sticks to my dash, and my dash isn't a smooth surface!

The only downside (and it's a very small one) is that the "neck" of the mount isn't at rigid or stiff as I'd like - on some roads, the phone has a slight vibration that's slightly visible on the screen

If you have a large phone like a Note 8 or S8, make sure wherever you put that magnet in your case is lined up with the mount as well as you can, or a sharp turn can send your phone flying

As long as the mount is positioned on my dash where the dash can support my phone, it works as it should.

Best 10$ spent i use it every day its very sturdy I will recomend to all it does not feel cheap at all
