The low price made me pretty skeptical, but I figured that even if it broke quickly I would still come out around even
So when I saw it here at a great price I had to get one of my own.
I'm very happy with this purchase and the price is great
it dose take a while to warm up but for the casual laminator and the cheap price, who cares
I also bought some generic plastic envelopes at a much cheaper price than the Scotch brand and they work great making this a great deal overall to laminate at will.
I use the Scotch laminating sheets; they are of great quality.
Everything I've done with this machine has been great quality
Let it warm up and expect quality to fall off if you want to laminate more than two or three sheets as the machine does not recover as quickly as a larger commercial laminator would, but that is to be expected at this price point
so I don't know if it's a defect or just declining quality.
I have to say this laminator machine works great and the quality is awesome, It's light weight and easy to use
The PRO version is great and everything works like it should right out of the box, do not think this was user error.
I feed it the proper way (cut side up, closed side to the machine) and try to feed it the pouch in the middle, but either there is too much room for user error or the laminator tends to pull the pouch too much one way or the other, left or right, causing it to wrinkle on the edge
I am a teacher with limited resources and this product has NEVER given me a problem (Other than user error if I put the paper in and it's not straight - then it struggles a tad bit)
Only downside is that it totally burned and ruined a ticket that I was laminating on the lowest setting, which I don't know if it was user error or if it was too warm or what!
