I like it so much that I probably won't bother with the expensive replacement of the former again, because it not only heats water quickly--the stainless steel interior is preferable over the plastic rubber tank of the dispenser, which always had a foul taste.
-
But guess what, that weird taste is worse than the plastic ones
-
I do rinse it really well after using it, but it still has that weird taste
-
Love not having plastic taste in the water
-
I haven't noticed a smell or taste with the water.
-
It cleans easy, and doesn't take on any tastes or odors over time
-
still had a lingering stainless steel taste in the water until after the fifth pot or so.2
-
Since this one is all steel inside and the plastic won't come in contact with water, I thought this one will never give water that weird taste
-
Works well, no funny smell or taste, ergonomic design.
-
Second, I had noticed a weird taste with the single wall ones as I look through many of them and there was somehow plastic in contact with the water inside
-
If this issue could not be resolved, I'd say it's just a waste of money because there's no point in drinking water with bad taste
-
The water tastes great - I got a cold the day this

I did my research and knew this was the kettle I wanted for the quality and the affordability, so I hope it stays as lovely as when I got it.
-
Got this Secura 8 months ago and it is still working as though it were new.
-
and the corn was still as hot as when removed from the cook pan.
-
It works as it should, with no issues.
-
It has a metal interior to the top, as well as being metal all around the interior, so we don't have to worry about chemicals from plastics leaching into the water
-
It was delivered July 6th and already has rust formed on the bottom as well as on the top of the canister around this little hole.
-
Works exactly as I hoped no issues
-
Heats water quickly and shuts off seconds after it boils, just as it should, great for the money
