Product quit working after 2 months

This product worked wonderfully the three times we used it for family get together and then it stopped working when we tried to use the fourth time at Thanksgiving.

This sounds like a good product, but the plates are fairly thin metal, the heating is uneven and so the waffles come out with patches of darker and lighter finish.

n’t panic when the factory applied coating burns off when you first plug it
