Battery life is Great even with near constant use over several hours one day.
they pair with each other and with the phones very quickly, hold the connection up to almost a mile, battery life is great and they definitely get much use in this household
Battery life was excellent, we rode 10 hour days and had no problems.
I was very sceptical as to weather we would be able to hear inside our helmets as my bike is very loud
Battery life is great also, I went through a full day of riding without a hitch and the charger is the same as my Blackberry to boot!
They work great, the intercom between us is clear and has a decent range
They work great, the intercom between us is clear and has a decent range
(If the mic clamp cracked while riding the intercom would almost surely fall out of the mic clamp.
We use them as a intercom between my wife and I and they work great we do not use them to speak to other riders.
My wife got these for me and my son for Christmas, all I can say is that they are great, very clear intercom, hooks up to your phone for GPS and bluetooth music
They are fairly clear while riding but there is a slight wind noise
Works as advertised, came already paired from the factory, arrived fully charged, easy to install even for a first time user, clear conversations with my passenger even at highway speed, changed two-up riding forever, absolutely love it
The sound quality for music is wonderful, that helps my daughter not get bored when she's riding pillion with me
Bought for riding dirt bikes I can talk to my son while we ride work great for the price
My buddy and I have yet to ride with these but prior experience with this model (the battery in one of the ones we have is starting to have charging issues.) expect it to give us another few years of service that enhances our riding either solo or together.
I was very sceptical as to weather we would be able to hear inside our helmets as my bike is very loud
Second When synced to my wife's headset and listening to music the headset looses connection to my Iphone (and my wife's Iphone 5) the music plays in like 1-2 sec bursts
These minor frustrations aside, the headset works really very well
The dual package (two headsets) is cheaper than buying the individual headsets, FYI.
Excellent headset, very clear sound, works brilliantly with my iPhone 5
The range is excellent, the sound is clear, and the volume control is a real plus
Despite that, I only loose the very high and low ranges in music at 70+ mph, but can still hear the music
I was very sceptical as to weather we would be able to hear inside our helmets as my bike is very loud
Range was great and can be used as a safety tool, one of my saddlebags came open, so instead of my wife having to speed up and then get my attention, she simply used the intercom and we pulled safety to the side of the road.
Of course, you do have to remember to go to stand by mode when you go to the bathroom because the range is great!
Allows clear communication with passenger on back plus also syncs easy to Bluetooth SM-10 which allows me to communicate with my GPS, iPhone and CB radio.
The intercom option works flawlessly and allows hands-free communication between rider and passenger
It has been amazingly easy to use and the communication between bikes and riders is great
Awesome communication very easily installed and very clear.
Distance is about 100 yards after that you lose communications.
The second unit had constant static that made communications difficult and we had to frequently turn down the volume to reduce the noise
The unit worked perfectly as long as the other bike is within line of site.
Both unit works great, clear sound and talk between units (very clear)
I'm surprised that the Sena helmet speakers sound better than my far more costly J&M units
If you go down hard and the left side of your helmet goes into the road or a log or something you might break the intercom unit - I would think about putting some kind of shield over it before taking it on an enduro
If when you un-snap the intercom (to remove it), and it is at all difficult, this is an indication that the mic clamp is deformed and flattened more than it should be - I would expect some type of problem to develop
When mounting the mic clamps (provided with this item and also available separately as Sena SMH-A0301 Helmet Boom
You have to replace the provided two screws with longer ones so you can use the 'extra plastic shim piece' along with the thin metal backing clamp - this is what I did and recommend, if your helmet has a contour that deforms the mic clamp in any way when you tighten the clamp screws, or the mic clamp will eventually crack
I was very sceptical as to weather we would be able to hear inside our helmets as my bike is very loud
